Kari Jorgensen

(PT, COMT)

Kari grew up on a farm in Eastern Iowa, where an active lifestyle and a passion for athletics shaped her early years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at St. Ambrose University. Committed to lifelong learning, Kari furthered her expertise with a Certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute.  She has accumulated 24 years of experience, earning additional certifications in Functional Dry Needling (Levels I-III), Pelvic Floor Therapy, NDT Level 1, Neurokinetic Therapy, Laser Therapy, and Functional Nutrition.

Driven by a desire to help others while staying active, Kari co-founded Jorgensen Physical Therapy (formerly Center for Spine and Sport Rehab) in 2007. She managed the practice and provided patient care until the business closed in December 2025. Now, Kari is excited to focus fully on patient care once again.

Outside of her professional life, Kari enjoys running, working out, gardening, supporting her sons as a soccer and football mom, and spending quality time with her three boys.
