Internship Opportunities

Step 1: Application Window Opens

Applications for intern positions must be submitted by February 1st annually. The summer Intern Tech roles typically run from mid-May through August 1st.

Step 2: Prepare Your Cover Letter

Draft a cover letter detailing your motivation for joining GO Physical Therapy as an intern. Clearly outline your career objectives and explain how this internship will help achieve those goals.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Submit your prepared cover letter and any required supporting documents directly to our Human Resources team at hr@gopt.us.

Step 4: Application Review

Once the application period closes (after February 1st), our Human Resources team will review all submissions and forward qualified candidates to the Internship Committee and hiring managers.

Step 5: Invitation to Interview

Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an interview. Please note, interviews and applications do not guarantee acceptance into the internship program.

Step 6: Internship Offer

Successful candidates will be formally offered an internship position. Congratulations!

Step 7: Internship Acceptance

Upon acceptance of the offer, you will begin the formal employment process. Human Resources will guide you through all necessary paperwork and onboarding tasks.

Step 8: Onboarding Process

Internships at GO Physical Therapy are paid positions. Onboarding includes new hire paperwork, background checks, drug screenings, and for hospital-based roles, additional medical records compliance.

Step 9: Schedule Finalization

Once onboarding paperwork is complete, our Human Resources team will connect you with your clinic supervisor to confirm your work hours and official start date.

Step 10: Provide Outstanding Care

Gain valuable hands-on experience by working closely alongside our experienced therapists, delivering exceptional patient care and building practical skills essential to your professional growth.

Step 11: Internship Completion

After successfully completing the internship, GO Physical Therapy will gladly provide a letter of recommendation or professional reference to support your ongoing career aspirations in physical therapy.
