Treatment/Specialties: Head and Neck Cancer, Voice, Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD)/Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (PVFM) trained at National Jewish Hospital in VCD/PVFM management. Parkinson’s Certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT-LOUD), International Association of Laryngectomees (IAL) Certified Speech Instructor, trained at Dr. Blom’s office in tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis (TEP) fitting and management, McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP) certified, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) certified, trained in cancer rehabilitation, Functional Nutrition Informed Professional (FNIP) certified. Currently the VP of Medical for the Nebraska Speech Language Hearing Association, prior recipient of the Di Carlo award as well as the ACE award from ASHA. Has been both an instructor of the graduate level Voice Disorders class at the University of Nebraska as well as guest lecturer in medical speech pathology. Clinical Externship instructor for over 20 years.
