Position:   Physical Therapist, Director of PT Children’s Rehab Center                                    

Education:  University of Nebraska Medical Center

Trainings/Certifications: APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Advanced training in postural alignment and facilitation for breathing patterns, pediatric neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions, and the Masgutova method for reflex integration.

Memberships:  American Physical Therapy Association (Pediatric Section member), Nebraska Physical Therapy Association, board member of Bikes and Trykes of Central Nebraska.

Hobbies, special interests: Family activities with husband Dave and grown children, outdoor recreation, church activities, baking, and growing flowers.

Deb began working at Children’s Rehab Center in 1988 and has over 35 years of experience working with the pediatric population. Over the years Deb has treated a variety of patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, school-based, out-patient, sports medicine, and acute care. She was instrumental in helping to start Children’s Rehab Center and has served as the physical therapy director since 2001. Deb has special interest in the treatment of developmental and neuromuscular impairments. She is a former board member of GI Special Olympics. Deb is married to her husband Dave and has 3 grown children.
